Tiptek Selected for Illinois Innovation Voucher Award

Tiptek is pleased to announce that it has been selected as an award recipient in the highly competitive Illinois Innovation Voucher Program (IIVP), as announced by JB Pritzker and the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity.

The IIVP supports research and development collaborations between small businesses and qualified Illinois universities. Through this initiative, Tiptek is partnering with the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, working with ECE Professor José Schutt-Ainé, on a project titled Advancing Chip Manufacturing Through Gigahertz Nanoprobing Technology to further advance Tiptek’s proprietary nanoprobe platform.

The statewide program awarded $2.4 million to 34 companies spanning key industries, including semiconductor and advanced materials development. Tiptek was also recognized among regional awardees in central Illinois media coverage.

“We are deeply grateful for the support of the State of Illinois and our partners at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign,” said Tiptek CEO Scott Lockledge. “Participation in the Illinois Innovation Voucher Program strengthens our leadership in semiconductor and failure-analysis nanoprobing applications and accelerates the continued development of our world-class nanoprobe technology.”
